It’s been a while since I’ve seen something funny on College Humor. Well this video clip / song made me laught to death (I’m typing from heaven hell in an Internet cafe).

Every time I see infomercials on TV, I always wonder who buy these things?! I mean, either A, a lot of people do, or B, some stupid companies continue to lose money since 10 years trying to sell their sh***ty stuff… And you know it’s A!
Anyway, each time I see a new product, I still have this little thing in my head saying: “well maybe this one works”… Well, you know what, even if some of those products work OK (as these weirdos said), often the catch is just that you pay 3-4 times the amount you could pay at a shop near you. Enough said, here’s what I found on Youtube checking for “mighty putty”, “sham wow”, “magic bullets” and all those infomercials!
This one is interesting. I never noticed the “editing proof” in the Shamwow video!
I also found the “product tester” on Youtube. His intro is really bad, but he really shows if the product works fine or not! Here’s his “mighty putty” video :
Here’s the magic bullet. It looks like it’s doing an OK job, but hey, it’s not a “magic bullet”, it’s a freakin’ blender! Why pay for shipping and handling when you can buy one from a shop anywhere?
It’s fun to see different kinds of photoset on flickr about the same subject. This one is about “end screens” shown at the end of old movies. You know, Charlie Chaplin’s movies, old Bugs stuff and a lot of others! Just like this one, from an old 1951 movie called On The Riviera:
That made me remember… I don’t think that we get those “the end” anymore… either that or I just don’t see them. If my memory is still fine, we always get a black fade out and it’s finish. Ah the memories! OK, I wasn’t born back then, so what!? It’s still artistic… no?
Sometimes you are under the impression that everybody is going in the opposite way. Like driving on a highway and watching every car coming at you. And most of the time, you would just think that you are the one who’s wrong and just change your mind, abandon your idea or opinion or whatever. But not that guy! He stick to it and you know what? He was right! If everybody followed that man’s advice, well maybe that this world financial crisis would be less dramatic than it is right now.
That guy predicted two years ago exactly what’s happening right now, and everybody was laughing at him! Who’s laughing now?! Well not me, because I’m losing money, I guess he’s probably the only one laughing.
I was there, browsing the net, innocent and naive like a little baby, you know, like I already do. And then, BAM! Bye bye naivety! I see that cute, yet really weird, looking dog. After that, I had to question a lot of things on my current life and myself. Like, is it normal that I find that cute and not ridiculous? I’m a guy, a male… Grrr!
