First, the guy who had the idea, even if it’s not 100% real, is a genius. Seriously, who would have thought of this? It’s amazing what a geek can do! Just don’t show that to your parents… they can’t understand

Second, I wonder if it’s 100% real… Not because I want to take away the work that have been done on this great clip, but just by curiosity! In my opinion, some things that could have been arranged are the colored spots, maybe it was added after? Also, the video could have been slowed down to sync with the music. But even so, it’s still a great idea and I’m sure it took a lot of work! Anyway, if you know anything about video creation (I don’t), tell me what you think about that in the comments!

I’ve wrote about paper toys a couple of days ago and after that, I found extreme paper toys! How about some kind of hip hop / breakdance guy, spinning on his head? Only made with paper! The author posted a clip on YouTube, it’s actually a 3D model of what is should look like if you are good enough to assemble the little toy:

Who’s Billy!?

Who is he? Where does he come from? Nobody knows. He went on Kashyyyk, just to say hello to Chewbacca. By the way, Kashyyyk is the planet where all the Wookies live happily together, brushing their fur and all that stuff. Anyway, he went to Chewbacca’s place, but also visited the forest moon of Endor and said ‘hello’ to… yea, the Ewoks! Those noisy teddy bears. He also fights vigorously the stormtroopers to find his food (nuts and all other stuff that chipmunk eats). (more…)

You’re a little geeky and you don’t know what to do in your spare time? Well, I found something for you: Paper toys! Google and Newspapers

I don’t know if you knew it, but Google began to scan newspapers a little while ago. You can even search for words directly in these electronic papers. OK, it doesn’t always work 100% well, but it’s a start. Also, Google categorize search results by dates, so you can check oldest or newest news, depending on what you’re looking for.

My Weird Hobby and the Message From 1950

So anyway, I was there, looking at old ads in a newspaper from 1950… A new car for only 2000$ anyone?! Yea, that’s a weird hobby… looking at old newspapers. But, I don’t know, I think there’s something relaxing and interesting in that. I like to see what people were talking about back then. What ads and design looked like…

Anyway, I don’t know really how I stumbled on that particular newspaper, but I was browsing it, looking quickly at some classified ads, headlines… And then, I saw this headline : “Message to Citizens of Year 2000“! I was stunned! The freaking newspaper was talking to me! (more…)
