What?
Axonoid.com is a little more than a month old and I had great comments and feedback so far. So I decided to reward you, my readers, with a great contest to start the month of October!
What can you win?
You can win a brand new 2GB iPod shuffle (500 songs can go in there approximately). Check out the iPod Shuffle page in the Apple Store for more information about that product.
Who can participate?
The contest to win the iPod shuffle is open to Canada and USA BUT, if you win and you don’t live in one of those two countries, you’ll be able to change the prize for 50$ US trough PayPal instead.
If you live in Canada or USA and you prefer to have 50$ US, you can get the money instead of the iPod Shuffle (through PayPal).

How can I participate?
You can do some actions that will earn you tickets. Each “ticket” count as one participation or entry in the contest. One user can have multiple tickets. At the end of the contest, one winner “ticket” is selected randomly. So it means that if you have 10 tickets and the there is 100 tickets total, you have 10 chances on 100 to win (one on ten).
- 1 ticket : A comment on any post at Axonoid.com (except this post). The comment must have at least 3 sentences and be relevant. You can add as many comments as you like. So if you add 10 great comments, it’s 10 tickets for you. Previous comments doesn’t count of course.
- 5 tickets : A review (with relevant text) of any post from Axonoid.com on Stumble Upon. You must add a link on this post in the comments to your review and tell what’s your Stumble Upon user name. Again, previous reviews doesn’t count.
- 10 tickets: Subscribe (it’s free and easy!) to receive all the content of Axonoid.com by Email. Use the form in the top right corner under the orange title “Receive all Axonoid.com posts by Email (it’s 100% free!)”. You must confirm the subscription by clicking on the link that you will receive by email too.
- 15 tickets : Add Axonoid.com to your blog roll! To notify me, please add a comment on this post with the URL of your website.
- 15 tickets : A blog post about that contest, containing a link to the home page of this website + a link to this contest. To notify me of a post you made, please add a comment at the end of this article.
Rules :
- Contest ends on October 31, 2008 at 11h59 PM (Eastern Time Zone).
- All the users that are already receiving the content by email are automatically in the contest with 10 tickets.
- Winners will be decided through random.org.
- The winner will be able to choose the color and the engraving that he wants for the iPod Shuffle. The available colors are silver, blue, green, red and pink. The engraving must have less than 38 characters.
- I’ll contact the winner by email with the email that he’ll use for posting comments. I won’t try to contact the winner by any other way.
- If the winner doesn’t respond to my email for 4 days after I sent it, I’ll choose another person.
- If you want the 50$ instead of the iPod Shuffle, I’ll send you the equivalent of 50$ US through PayPal (PayPal may keep a % of the money to themselves).
- When the winner is contacted, I’ll order the iPod Shuffle trough Apple’s website and then send it to the lucky guy (or girl). The winner won’t have to pay for shipping.
Just a little note : Don’t worry, when you add comments with links, Askimet will block some of them. I’ll normally approve them in 1-2 days.
